This is an introductory level course for CFD.The focus is on gaining hands-on experience with commercial systems (ANSYS). Theory lessons are brief and treat only the most important ideas in CFD. The students spend the majority of their time on preprocessing, running and postprocessing simulations as well as on generating geometries that meet the more stringent quality requirements that CFD has. A commercial CAD system (3D Experience) is used is used for this purpose.
